Herdt is pleased to welcome Rick West (MCPON, USN, Ret) to the Herdt family. Rick began his 32 year Navy career as a Submariner, followed by many challenging leadership assignments and culminating with his final tour as the 12th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON). Rick’s assignments included Chief of the Boat on USS Portsmouth (SSN 707), Command Master Chief of Submarine Squadron Eleven, COMSUBPAC Force Master Chief, Command Master Chief USS Preble (DDG 88), and Fleet Master Chief for both the Pacific and U.S. Fleet Forces Command. Rick West brings to our clients an incredible array of knowledge, experience, accomplishment, energy and vision. Based out of the Pacific Northwest, Rick will assist in all facets of Herdt product/service delivery and customer relationships.
